Teresa and Jeff Daniels celebrated their love with a traditional Catholic Wedding at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Memphis, Tennessee.
A True Fairytale Love Story
My wedding season started on April 2nd and it could not have been with a sweeter couple! Teresa and Jeff were high school sweethearts and were married at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Memphis. Their reception followed at the Jack Robinson Gallery on Front Street. Being a Catholic myself I’ve always wanted to photograph a wedding at this particular church, it is absolutely breathtaking! When you walk inside the church you’re immediately overwhelmed with the beauty and fellowship.
The Big Day
We started the day with the girls getting ready and took off full steam ahead from there. These bridesmaids were some of the sweetest and most fun girls I have had the pleasure of working with. (One of them even told me I look like I’m 26! Hey hey now, every woman in her 30’s wants to hear that! Am I right or am I right?!) I knew what tight group of ladies they were at the rehearsal the evening before when I could hear the laughter and the inside jokes echoing throughout the church, but I had no idea just how tight and how much love they shared between one another until I saw the girls place hands on Teresa and pray for her. They prayed for a solid foundation that she and her future husband could share, they prayed for joy, for peace, for strength, and for Teresa and Jeff to continue to walk in God’s path and forge a stronger relationship than they already have.
Immediately following the ceremony we headed to the reception where the guests danced the afternoon away! There was so much love, joy, and laughter in the air that Saturday afternoon. Jeff is from Pittsburgh, PA (hey buddy, you’re my across the keystone state kindred spirit….unless you call soda “pop” that is) so it was so nice to have his family in town to celebrate with everyone and share the celebration.
They ended the evening saying goodby to everyone and thanking them for coming, stopped for a short and sweet kiss, and waving to their loved ones as the rode off into the sunset. I wish you both nothing but love and happiness as you begin this amazing journey together. I am so glad that I was able to capture this beautiful day for you!
